Chilaka Chocolates LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) wants you to be delighted with your purchase from https://chilakachocolates.com/. Due to the perishable nature of our chocolate products, our refund policy is limited but fair. This policy applies to orders shipped exclusively within the United States.
Eligible Refunds
- Damaged or Defective Products: Refunds or replacements for items arriving damaged, spoiled, or defective.
- Incorrect Items Shipped: If you receive the wrong product due to our error.
- Time Limit: Requests must be made within 7 days of delivery, with photos of the issue and your order number.

Ineligible for Refunds
- Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
- Melted chocolates due to improper storage after delivery (we ship with insulation, but heat exposure post-delivery is your responsibility).
- Customized or personalized orders.
- Shipping delays by carriers like USPS or UPS.
- Shipping fees ($5.99 flat rate) are non-refundable.
Refund Process

- We’ll review and respond within 2 business days—approvals include return instructions.
- Once received and inspected (typically 3-5 business days), we issue refunds to your original payment method via Stripe within 10 business days.
- Partial refunds may apply for partial issues (e.g., one damaged item in a multi-pack).
Refunds exclude taxes and original shipping. Track your refund status in your account or via email update.
Cancellations
Orders can be canceled before processing/shipping for a full refund (minus any transaction fees). Email us immediately after checkout—we’ll confirm if possible.
